    I chose to interpret this as making fun of medieval horse drawings.

    Front facing horse is drawn like an egg with feet.

    Tho paintings of mythological animals/beings like Buraq are still more fun.

      Ok, in the first picture, wtf is up with the legs on that horse on the right. They curl outward like a frog or something lol
