  • How does saying that such hostile treatment is abnormal “erase” anyone’s lived experiences?

If you tell someone who lived only eating one meal a day during elementary school that they did not have a normal childhood, you are directly commenting ON their “lived experience”, not erasing it.

You seem to be conflating “that’s not normal” with “that never happens”, which is not reasonable.

  • Unless they’ve been using the same sippy cups for decades, I don’t think grandma would’ve helped with this.

While I don’t disagree, (personally, I’m not about it but people should be able to plug in to a local community for common advice of mundane things) parents also just…learned things themselves. And sometimes it wasn’t correct. I’ve spoken to my sister-in-law who told me about all the unsolicited advice she’s gotten about motherhood. And how much of it was basically superstition, not medical advice.

Why would the real killer have claimed responsibility? That’s assuming the vigilante is serial killer adjacent and was aiming for notoriety thwarting police by killing CEOs instead of normal people.

And why are you assuming that the cabal of rich dickheads could have apprehended the real killer but chose Luigi regardless? Instead of having no reliable suspect and being given a effigy to burn publicly because of a call-in and an over-eager (and corrupt), local police force?
