I got an email today, from my own company, telling me I wouldn’t have to renew my professional certification for 2 years if I passed an unrelated test on AI.
The “test” was 10 questions. Glad to know my professional certification is equivalent to a 10 question pop quiz on AI.
Multiple drives in a RAID.
Every drive I’ve had fail has been a Seagate. I replace them out of habit at this point.

Babylon 5 was a great show… with this caveat:

Season 1 is slow and you won’t know how important it is until you watch 2, 3, 4.

Season 4 is the single best season of sci fi television ever produced, but you have to have seen 2 and 3 to fully appreciate it.

The reason Season 4 is amazing is because they didn’t know they were getting a Season 5 so they stuffed 2 seasons worth of television into 1.

Then they got renewed for Season 5 by a different network and were like “Season 5… um… yeah! We totally have a plan for that… Yeah… totally ready to go.”

If a show tells you it’s building to something, then fails to deliver, it has disrespected all the time and effort invested.

Because the Senate passed it via reconciliation to avoid the filibuster, if the House rejects it, it goes back to the Senate to be re-formulated into something more acceptable to the House.
We’ll know more when the House votes on it. It may be House members will demand certain things be added or removed.
But then whatever changes have to be re-voted on in the Senate, so she’d have a SECOND chance to vote “No” while still voting “Yes”.
