A company removed your freedom, their founder even famously saying that consumer don’t know what they want but apple does, knowingly give up all their rights to a corporation when there are alternatives, declare that they trust the corporation, accept when the corporation forbids them from giving anyone else money, and now they are going to cry when the corporation fucks them? Like it did several times in the past and yet they remained loyal?

Apple users are insane… The only reason to use android is because it’s the only current viable alternative to apple. But they use their stuff out of some weird masochistic choice, and then cries when their daddy beats them.

And if that logic was true, we would already have a problem worse than the yank tank issue, where the cars get bigger and bigger for “protection”. Every vehicle would get louder and louder to be heard above the other loud vehicles, and eventually living in a city would mean enjoying the non stop sound of atomic bombs exploding everywhere 100 times per second per car.

But unlike the yank tank issue, everyone would be deaf, and then the noise wouldn’t matter anymore. I guess that’s the best case scenario that those kinds of sadists hope for. They can’t hear anymore, so they want everyone else to be deaf as well.

I like seeing atomic explosions. Surely I should be able to create one in real life because it’s a total different feeling than seeing the video.

Your pleasure should never be above the safety and rights of others. I understand headphones won’t give you the same “pleasure” as the sound of real explosions, but that’s the limits of how you should be able to enjoy it.

Plenty of people watch F1 and love the sounds of a V8 or V10 or whatever. So much so they can tell them apart.

That’s what I would like to know, why do those dysfunctional individuals exists. What issue happened that made them enjoy loud noises that should make them scared? Do they enjoy the sound of thunder? Airplane jets next to their faces? Why?

Sure if we shined a light on your life we might find that you too are a little inconsiderate at times.

If I caused hearing damage to people, damaged their health, made the life of hundreds (thousands? I don’t how long you’ve been driving) a nightmare, I should be jailed or killed. I am a sociopath then, a danger to society.

How on hell is that behavior legal I don’t know, but I am not an absolute piece of shit committing crimes daily. And if I am I DO deserve punishing and it’s astonishing that society would not do it.

I don’t. To me the exhaust and noise are terrible but unavoidable issues of a combustion engine. A fetish with it and attempts to hear more of it are alien concepts to me. I would only modify my car to reduce the issue and I don’t know what you need to do to enjoy your “pleasure”.

If it’s not loud (assuming I can trust you understand what not loud means) how can you hear from inside the car? And if you can hear from inside, people outside can hear it MORE. So it’s an impossible concept to me. Like enjoying hurting others but that they don’t feel pain.

Or do you mean that anything below killing people and damaging structures is not absurdly loud and therefore acceptable?

I know that’s the answer but I refuse to believe and I would like them to explain themselves.

In other news, try Krita and node based video editors that run natively in Linux.

But sequence based editors… Yeah, it’s tough. There is Kdenlive and Blender, but for serious jobs it make it difficult.

I would say adobe is the biggest stone on Linux shoes. The brainwashed with their office braking compatibility would be easily fixed just ditching microsoft, gamers just don’t want to switch to something that works. But adobe, with all their patents are a big issue. The moment a real alternative comes up they will sue.

I literally changed jobs to not have to deal with adobe.

But Krita is pretty good.
