My computer “accidentally” installed windows 11 yesterday. So I spent all of today trying to fix all the stuff that broke. In the end it didn’t work, so I’m finally moving over to Linux soon.

For me it’s mostly the never ending creep of time. My kids growing older, my career opportunities waning, my body degrading, my hair greying. I never used to lie awake at night, but now I do.

This is the worst Venn diagram ever. The overlaps and categories are clearly just arbitrarily labelled. There are just too many combinations that are possible in reality, but not according to this diagram.

I get that it’s fun to shit on windows, but please respect the Venn diagram

My daughter (11) wants to watch more anime than what’s on Netflix. Are these good for girls that age, you’d guess?

I interpret it as “we (men) need no external validation, but it’s nice to get”. However, I argue that we do need external validation and denying that is toxic masculinity.

The HUD is only for the heat seeking missiles though.

That’s not how a capitalist system works. In capitalism, one can only do things for personal gain. Anything else will be lost effort. Even if a company gives out free stuff, that’s ultimately for their own gain
