I don’t agree. Many of the cheaper phones are pretty shit and barebones. I’ve had Samsung flagship phones for years, and they have never disappointed me. Friends and family have had the cheaper Samsung phones, and they have been pretty hit and miss. You just kinda get what you pay for. Wanna pay €200 for a phone? You get something that can barely turn on, that’s it.
How would secret transactions make a the coin not deflate? The issue is control of the production of the currency. If you can’t control it, it’s a cointoss wether it’ll be infaltionary or deflationary. A lot of inflation is bad, and any deflation is catastrophic, so I’d really rather not leave the economy up to random chance and private entities’ willingness to control the production of their shitcoins.
I’m sorry, but that is just a blatant misunderstanding of how economics work. It wouldn’t combat blatant consumerism, it would literally destroy the economy. Not to be replaced by something better, but just destroy it. There would be no reason to invest in literally anything, including people, no reason to repair your house or feed the poor, because the money it would cost, would be worth more tomorrow.
Why would I buy a car, or bike, or proper nutritional food, if I could save that money for tomorrow, and buy more? Only tomorrow it’s the same thing, so I’ll live like shit until the next day, then the next day, and then the next…

My old keyboard had an identical problem to this. I would play games with my friends, and randomly it would just cut out for like 1 second. When it first started I thought it was just me getting old and fudging my key presses, but suddenly one day, I realised it was my office fridge that had turned on.
Discord is genuinely a great tool for what I used to use Skype for. Talking to my friends, and sharing dumb memes with them in a groupchat format. Companies need to learn that using it as a forum, a Q&A service, a wiki or any other information sharing purpose, is simply fucking retarded.
And lets be real here for a second. It costs actual money to develop and update Plex. All these people being butthurt about no longer being able to watch everything for free are entitled as fuck. It’s okay to pay developers for their time and expertise. A carpenter expects you to pay them. A painter also expects you to pay them. A software engineer expects to be paid for their work, and they won’t if people use their software for free. If you don’t want to pay for it, download your own shit, and if you’re hosting for a lot of users, tell all the users to download their own shit.
Honestly, sounds like the corporation’s problem. I’m more afraid for human lives than some product in the back. In a case like that it’d be better to not have a driver who could be killed.
I use it a lot, and have been for 10 years or so. I have never had any sort of error. It has simply always worked exactly like it’s supposed to.
I don’t know anything about it being intrusive or insecure, and definately need a source on that, but it’s possible those criticisms are valid, but again, need a damn source. As is, the person you commented on has lost all cridibilty, so I’m inclined to err on the side of caution, and assume they don’t know what they’re talking about.
