set all my APs and router and switches and other network nodes to HTTPS
What does that mean? HTTPS is a client-server thing, your APS and switches don’t really have anything to do with that.

Do you actually use the right control or shift keys? I do always touch type but I pretty much only use the left modifier keys.
Is it? Afaik that also removes incompatible packages so if you’ve installed some custom stuff that might not be the best option.
Nope it’s just apt update & upgrade. Iirc apt tells you when the kernel was updated and needs a reboot as well.

From what I’ve read it seems you shouldn’t run a browser as a flatpak anyway, as this somehow weakens the built-in isolation.
I think I originally read about this somewhere librewolf-related but can’t seem to find it now.
I did find this similar discussion: https://discuss.privacyguides.net/t/correct-way-to-install-browsers-on-linux-securely/27046/6

In my experience the issue is different flatpaks depending on different versions of gnome platform or mesa or whatever, so you have multiple versions of the same library.
I have plenty of storage though so I don’t care that much.

That entirely depends on who is writing the system prompts. Have you seen the shit grok says on twitter?

Homebrew has announced they’re gonna stop supporting disabling quarantine. Which means I’m gonna stop using Homebrew, as most of their reasoning didn’t make much sense besides “daddy Apple doesn’t like it”.

What the hell is this website? Every time I press play it just takes me to a different video.
Iirc before dolphin would just refuse to run as root, I guess this is an improvement

Not the most ethical, but kobo is also very easily de-drm’d with calibre.
Actually no this is not even unethical, I did actually pay for those books.

I just use homebrew with quarantine disabled (otherwise homebrew will auto-update the package with quarantine enabled again, even if you installed it without).
I don’t like macs. Just have to use one for work.
Ahh that makes sense. I thought you were claiming you somehow got all your traffic over HTTPS with some AP settings.
