The left is a big sack of wet cats. Frenemies at best. Filled with gatekeepers on what the left “really” is, or should be.

It makes sense: The right wing is defenders of the ancien régime, and there’s only one way for things to remain the same, so they easily agree. The left wing wants something new, and it would be shocking if everybody agreed on what change should look like.

On one hand we aren’t sheep, on the other hand it’s really really hard to get us to work together and compromise.

People with an understanding of nuance and complexity have differing opinions about complex, nuanced topics

        Damn, who’da thunk

There’s a piece of me that admires the right’s capacity (the capacity, not the right itself) to staunchly stand together as one.

Even so, the ability to question is the cornerstone of democracy. We can’t exist in democracy without it.

Our problem is getting rabid on single issues and willfully derailing the entire train and everyone on it for said issues and still solving nothing. Which does make me wonder how much of the rabid single issue scream presented online is actually Russian in origin.

The theoretical world the left seeks to create will likely never exist. However, the traditional world the right wants to return to will also likely never come back (and really it never existed in the first place). In a lot of ways, both the left and right are reactions to a failing status quo. What alternative to the status quo will actually emerge? Who the hell knows.

The theoretical world the left seeks to create will likely never exist.

the alpha versions of it are already a reality for approximately 2 billion people on this planet and it’s little wonder that we’re creating luigi’s when we keep spreading this sort of propaganda to each each other

… and for FREE no less. if you’re going to do the epstein oligarchy’s work of spreading misinformation, you should atleast be getting paid for it; i’m pretty sure that you need the money if you’re an american.

I think you overestimate your ability to predict the future. Unless you have a crystal ball or a time machine.

I said the status quo was failing. Is the “epstein oligarchy” not the status quo? If I were trying to tow the line for that status quo, why would I say it was failing?

a crystal ball is not going to help you understand what happened 57-107 years ago; but giving up chugging on the propaganda kool-aid from cnn, or fox, or npr, or bbc, or le monde, or der spiegel, or wherever the tf you get your misinformation from will.

once you do, you’ll come to realize on your own that the “status quo” was nothing more than a narrative that the epstein oligarchy used to justify their control over our lives and that of the lives of our future generations.

regugitating their propaganda llke you did in your earlier comment – knowingly or not — only serves to keep people in this cycle of misery and asshattery.

I don’t know what propaganda you think I’m regurgitating. Do you mean when I said “The theoretical world the left seeks to create will likely never exist?” I said that because that’s what I think. Not because Fox News or CNN or BBC told me to think that. Honestly, I couldn’t care less what those news networks think or say.

I could be wrong. Obviously. Maybe the world the left wants to create will exist some day. I don’t think so, but what I think doesn’t determine the future.

Frankly, I don’t think anyone knows the future. I think it’s impossible to predict the future. Who knows what the future will be. I don’t think it will be what the left thinks it will be, but who knows.

That “theoretical” leftist world started to exist 107ish years ago and your inability to recognize that fact is the culmination of the propaganda.
