At least AI won’t fire you.
At least AI won’t fire you.
McNamara fallacy at its finest. They hear figures and potential savings and then jump into the hype without considering the context. It is the same when they heard of lean manufacturing or Toyota way. Companies thought it is cost saving rather than process improvement.
News of malfunctioning Tesla cars and Musk going crazy are still not enough to crash Tesla stocks to zero. Which I am hoping will happen not just to inflict sorrow on Musk and his wealth, but so that I could hedge against the stock 😂
I have the game on my backlog!
That’s genuinely the reaction when I pointed out how ridiculous it is for the military (or anyone really) to be overwhelmed by a rotting and slow-moving corpse. World War Z and I am Legend made the zombie apocalypse more believable.
To be fair to Honda, they are doing what is expected of any companies in a capitalist system, actually innovate and diversify in order to remain competitive. Most other companies would rather stick to their traditional products and services, even if those products and services are written on the wall that they are becoming obsolete.
The accusations are leveled at all social media.
I am actually getting tired of these rhetorical questions written as headlines. Just say what you want to say!
You know, if what everything Midas touches turns to gold because he wants to have as much wealth as possible, then eventually the value of gold diminishes and become worthless because there is too much gold circulating. He would have just crashed the economy!
That’s racist. What did the honey do to you?
I read the cat mommy’s voice in Princess Caroline’s voice.
I find reading philosophy in general to be better self-help than these actual new age self-help books. Taoism is particularly relevant today because of cult of productivity, utility and hustle culture which I find rather surprising people are doing-- because this trend is only serving the capital owners at the end, not yourself. Taoism teaches to slow down and at times being “useless” proves to be more useful.
Because American politicians would rather spend the money on engaging international wars. NASA will only get the funding it desperately needs if one of US’ rivals one up them, like how the launch of Sputnik spurred the race to the moon.
De-anonymising Yandex
Me: Ha! Good thing I am not Russian!
De-anonymising Meta
Me: Damn…and it is hard for me to let go because my social circle use Meta-owned social media and couldn’t care less about privacy…I am toast…
so I would be weary about gleaning financial advice from a chatbot.
Oh yes, I use the bots for projections, which I don’t necessarily take on the face value. Some calculations had been off but as long as I gain some actual profits, I am content enough.
The maker of Deep Seek made it so it would be easier for him to do stocks, which I am doing as well. Unless you all expect us to get degree on how to manually calculate the P/E ratio, potential loss and earnings, position sizing, spread and leverage, compounding, etc., then I will keep using AI. Not everyone of us could specialise on particular areas.
You are right. I just corrected my comment.
The dieselgate scandal is why I am so disappointed when I heard that Volkswagen outsold Tesla in Europe for the number one spot since the start of the year. I have been hoping it would a more scrupulous company (and non-Chinese EV manufacturer) that took the number one spot for European EV cars sold.
But even so, Netflix still retain good sound quality compared to alternative sources.
And this is the guy who the Anti-Defamation League defended with a waffle of a statement that his awkward gesture was “made in a moment of enthusiasm”. Though I should not be surprised, because fascists actually hate each other and are only allies out of convenience. Hasbara and its tentacles are secretly seething to hate on Musk.
